About

Jewelry that's easy to wear, hard to miss.

I’m Madi, the artist and jeweler behind Fair Enough, a small-batch jewelry studio based in Tallinn, Estonia.

After packing my bags and moving from Arizona, I now live and make jewelry in Tallinn, Estonia at Põhjala Tehas, a former factory complex turned creative community.

I find inspiration in all kinds of human-made things, from architectural motifs to vintage objects, handmade artifacts, and traditional craft. I love bold, fluid shapes that give an object its personality. I bring those ideas into jewelry that feels sculptural and noticeable while still being comfortable enough for everyday life.

I work primarily in 925 sterling silver and natural gemstones, especially opal, tourmaline, peridot, and sapphire. I’m always on the lookout for stones that catch my eye, whether they fit neatly into a collection or inspire something entirely new.

My journey to jewelry

Before jewelry, I worked in molecular biology. Jewelry started as a creative outlet, a way to step away from a very left-brained job and make something with my hands.

That changed when I attended the Tucson Gem & Mineral Show for the first time. Seeing thousands of incredible stones, and the variety of people whose lives revolve around them, made me realize that jewelry could be more than a hobby. I started dreaming about making a life out of it.

So I traded my lab bench for a jewelry bench and didn't look back.

Made to be worn

I’m not interested in making jewelry that disappears into a crowd.

Most of my pieces are produced in intentionally limited quantities, and some will only ever be made once. I like the idea that finding a piece of jewelry can feel a little like finding a unique treasure. It's like chasing the same high as finding something one-of-a-kind at a flea market or in a vintage shop, my favorite past-time.

Fair Enough is about making jewelry that feels individual without feeling overly precious. Designed to be sturdy, well-made, and not something that requires delicate wear. They are pieces to wear with your favorite clothes, take on vacation, wear out dancing and to coffee dates, and keep reaching for years later.

Thanks for being here.
